Natavia and her paranormal books man. I swear she does the best of both worlds with writing paranormal with a twist of urban fiction. I've read her Beast series and this story is in close competition. Risha was the comedy in this story she kept me laughing throughout the entire book. Odega reminded me a lot of Izra from the Beast series it would be interesting to see the two of them interact lol. I absolutely loved Brick and how his and Nabila's relationship blossomed. I kept trying to figure out who she was and how they were connected but it wasn't the way I thought so Natavia kept me on my toes with that one. Casha was no good and part of me was happy with her outcome but then I started thinking maybe I was wrong. Keeja is trouble. This was a standalone book but there is plenty or room for a spinnoff or another book. I can already see the plot. I definitely hope you keep bringing the paranormal books because you definitely have the gift to take the story lines to new heights.
Natavia has outdone herself with this one. Beasts series was good but Brick is even better. Gargoyles, fairies, birds, peots, magical planets. This book pulled me in from beginning to end. It made me want to be a fairy just to get a glimpse of how beautiful their world is. Brick is bae ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. What started out as a deal blossomed into something much more. Brick and Nabila needed each other to love again. Regardless of their differences, they were meant for each other. Risha had me so weak, she says whatever but was a very good friend to Nabila. Can't wait to see how her and Odega's relationship turns out. Don't want to ruin it for anyone but this is a VERY GOOD read. Highly recommend it 🙌ðŸ¾ðŸ™ŒðŸ¾ðŸ™ŒðŸ¾.
Well I've been waiting for The last installment of Beasts and didn't want to read another book during that time lol. BUT I needed a Natavia book and this one was just EVERYTHING AND MORE. It seems to be a standalone with the potential to branch off about the other characters but overall this book was every bit of the 10 stars I wish I could give it. I've read just about all Natavias books at this point and I don't think I've came across 1 I didn't love!!!!
I loved this story. I’ve never read an author who had paranormal black characters that had substance with a plot. I soaked this book up in hours. I couldn’t put it down. Brick is a gargoyle and Nabila is his mate. She’s human and she wished for him after heartache and he somehow appears as her fate.The two mare for his purposes not hers, but soon they fall for each other. His past heartache and his need for revenge comes back to hurt him and Nabila.Nabila is no weakling and is strong and so is her mate, Brick, who is an alpha male. A battle occurs after Brick returns for revenge and to help reclaim his home. While there jealousy and the envy from others occur.In the end there is a happy ever after for now...Pros:Alpha maleStrong heroineFunnyGreat extra characters that didn’t make you turn the page.Great backstory with his parents. Loved that.Cons:This author needs a trustworthy editor or someone to review her books for grammar mistakes. These mistakes aren’t overwhelming, but for this quality of plot and writing it shouldn’t be present.
I wanted to read this based on the reviews. Usually, I can bypass poor grammar and typos if I am hooked in the story. However, I am just to the point where Brick fell from the sky and am wondering if this was ever proof read. I want to continue the book (again, based on the reviews) but am struggling due to the poor grammar. :-(I am giving two stars for now (and that is in good faith) and hopefully can update it if and when I’m able to finish the book.

Wow! This was my first time reading this author's work and I must say, she's is the bomb!! I will be picking up more books by her! I was amazed by this book! Brick was everything and he is bae material. I enjoyed everything about this book and it felt as though I was in a movie!! Great job to the author! Can't wait to read more from her
